The film is presented by an academic Care Bear like creature called Dr Cute. We follow her as she attempts to put forward a lecture on cuteness and its affects, but is constantly hindered by sudden emotional responses, as objects and artworks incite reflexes of love, repulsion and fear.

The film was first made as an interpretative video to accompany Too Cute (2019), a curated exhibition of objects and artworks from the Birmingham Museums and Arts Council Collection.
